The end of the year is wrapping up nicely! We completed our Budding Author books and had a really nice celebration at the Bridgehampton School with an author who shared some of her writing techniques.
Last week we worked with Louisa’s mother who brought in materials for the students to create a mandala in celebration of Earth Day - along with the students of Tohanash and Javis‘ class.

Through our discussions, students reflected on important women in their own lives and shared how these individuals have influenced and inspired them.
Read MoreWe have been braving the cold weather and making the most of winter by building igloos and playing outside in the winter snow. In preparation for Soul Food Night, the students are learning the song “Wonderful World” by Sam Cooke and have been practicing both with Music Josh on Monday afternoons and in the classroom.

Read MoreOctober has been a truly special month for us all! Embracing adventure, discovery, and learning amidst the beauty of fall has been such a lovely way to celebrate the season. We shared an exciting and joy-filled month together! The crisp autumn air and the colorful leaves made the perfect backdrop for singing and drumming with Music Mike. Surrounded by trees, we played an array of drums, feeling the rhythm of the season all around us.
