Tohanash & Javis's Class Notes

We have had such a wonderful beginning to our school year! These past days have been filled with excitement, curiosity, new and rekindled friendships, and many opportunities for the students to become comfortable in their new classroom and school community. The students are learning each other’s names, discovering shared interests, playing together, and beginning to form new friendships. It has been so special to watch them grow more comfortable each day and see their personalities shine through as they become part of our classroom family. The students are learning where things belong, how our classroom works, and what to expect throughout the school day. These experiences are helping them develop a sense of confidence, independence, and belonging as they settle into the rhythm of school.

Another exciting part of our beginning has been starting our specials! The students have begun talking about our oceans with Ryan in Science, learning Do Re Mi with Mr. Steve in Music, and finding Gnomie the garden gnome with Mark Antonio and Aisa in Garden.

These first weeks are an important time for building relationships, learning routines, and developing a strong foundation for the year ahead. We are so proud of the children as they navigate all of these new experiences with growing confidence and curiosity.
