Julie's Class Notes

Zoom Call anyone? This seems to be the phrase on everyone’s lips these days. Even though we are experiencing challenging and uncertain times, we are fortunate to have such advanced technology to keep us somewhat connected. This is one of the things that gives me hope right now.

Inspired by a comment about hope, made by Red, a character from our read aloud, The Wish Tree, the students reflected on what hope means to them and how they stay positive

during this period of separation. Some of the ideas the kids had were, “If you give up on hope, you’ll give up on everything else”, “I try to have fun, play outside and play with my

little sister”, “I go for walks, find something to look forward to, stay motivated”.

We had a “Crazy Hair Day” last Friday and a special guest, Travis Foreman, at our Zoom Class. It is wonderful to see the kids and continue our projects, as best we can.

Keep up the great work and stay healthy!
