TOHANASH'S CLASS NOTES

It’s hard to believe we have already made it to the fourth week of school! It has been so nice for the children to reunite with old friends and make a few new ones. We began the year by getting to know each other and our school by taking campus walks to fun places like the tennis court, gardens, gym, and kitchen. Learning about these spaces, the classes and meeting other teachers has been a really great way for us to feel safe and happy in our own space.

In the classroom we have enjoyed plenty of Read –Alouds, letter “work”, beading, playdough, kinetic sand and more. While it may not seem like work, we have been busy counting, sorting and negotiating amongst our peers on all levels. Learning the classroom routines and norms has really been our work thus far. In the weeks to come we will dive further into our study of family.

A special highlight of our week is hands down, our time with Mark Antonio in Garden and BMX with Travis on Fridays!

As the weather gets colder, the water games come to an end but the outdoor time will not. We plan on spending as much time as possible outdoors so please make sure your child is dressed for the weather.
