Mark-Antonio and Aisa Class Notes

Our garden meetings continue to be flooded with information about water, and we are certainly making a splash! We continue to observe and record our findings from the evaporation jars placed in all four growing locations. We continue to create opportunities to explore how water moves around and through the soil, helping us better understand its important role in the garden.

We learned about growing garlic and planted next season’s crop, along with carrots, broccoli, bok choy, and lettuce. As we approach the end of the summer growing season, we have also begun saving seeds from our gardens. We will be taking a closer look at their unique characteristics, sorting them, and eventually adding them to our seed library.
