Mark-Antonio and Aisa Class Notes
Since late winter, our weekly library visits continued into early spring, where we consistently restocked and organized the seed library to support ongoing planting efforts. Alongside these visits, students remained engaged in a range of hands-on activities, including composting, upcycling, insect studies, experiments, garden and floral design, and seeding.
After returning from spring break, our focus shifted outdoors as we prepared planting areas in both the upper and lower gardens for the growing season. We’re also pleased to report that our micro meadow has entered its second season and is showing strong, healthy growth.
Upper-level classes have been observing and documenting seasonal changes in the landscape, with particular attention to the development of the cherry blossom trees. Across all groups, students continue to harvest from the greenhouses each week, strengthening their observation skills while actively participating in sustainable gardening practices and other gardening activities.
