As we start April, the geothermal wells are being installed and the piping brought to the building. The end of March saw the plumbers completing the rough-ins for the waste lines that will be below the Science Room slab. The Southampton Building Dept is scheduled to inspect that work on April 9. Once the inspection is completed, the floor will be graded and the rigid insulation and vapor barrier installed. When those are complete the concrete floor will be installed.

Looking ahead at the end of the month, we anticipate the installation of the structural steel and metal deck for the Library roof. We also anticipate the arrival of the beams and cross-laminated floor panels. The structural insulated panels are scheduled to arrive on site in early May and with that we will start enclosing the building.
