Week of 3/9
Please get your contracts for next year in to the office as soon as possible. We have many applicants for the next school year. We want to save space for our current families and be able to inform prospective families in a timely manner.
What a wonderful and vibrant week we had! I hope you had a chance to see the student art show at the Parrish Art Museum on Saturday. It will be up for a month.
Again, what an amazing Soul Food Night!
Stop by the Amagansett American Legion today 11-2 for Empty Bowls fundraiser and try some of the soups.. Especially ours made by Phoebe, Scott and the senior learners.
Monday, March 9 at 5 pm please join us for our Open Board Meeting .. Childcare will be available.
Our Staff Development Day was very interesting and informative: We met with former Hayground parents Mike Hogan ( Vanity Fair ) and Elise Jordan (NBC MS Now). Clyde is their daughter. We talked about the state of journalism today. In the afternoon we met with documentary filmmaker Mark Obenhaus about his recent documentary “Cover-Up” which chronicled the career of investigative journalist Seymour Hersh. It is definitely worth a watch on Netflix.
