AMY'S CASS NOTES

Amy's class has been busy thinking, wondering, and creating! We are in the process of selecting flora and fauna for individual research projects. For our fauna project, children may choose any animal that they would like to research. Some have chosen sea animals, so we will be investigating our local beach habitats as well. All flora research will be chosen from the vast plant life specimens at Hayground School. We will use words, sketches, paintings, etc. as a means for communicating what we have learned about our chosen animals and plants. Be sure to ask your child what they are researching and learning.

Thank you to all who came to our parents' night. It was a lovely time of visiting and sharing thoughts and ideas. We are scheduled to meet again individually for conferences on October 20. For any of you that would like to meet after school on one of the days leading up to conferences, please let me know. Some have mentioned that it is easier to plan for while children are in Hayground after school programming, so I wanted to be sure to offer the option to all.

Thank you for all you so every single day to send your children to school with such excitement!
